First off I just have to say that I think it is absolutely hilarious that there is a national holiday that celebrates a rodent! That being said, I'm all for it because it is a wacky holiday with lots of super cute picture books and because one of my dearest friends is originally from Brockway, PA which is right outside of "Punxy" as they call it. Back in the day she was even Jefferson County Fair Queen and met the groundhog himself (or at least an ancestor!) I've been to Punxsutawney, and it is so fun and cute with groundhog themed stuff EVERYWHERE! Plus when not predicting the weather, Phil himself lives in the...wait for it....LIBRARY!!!!
HE LIVES IN THE LIBRARY!!!!
That totally puts our library lion to shame...
