Fall 2018 Music & Movement: Weeks Five & Six 10/3/18 & 10/10/18

Playing a bit of catch-up this week.  I didn't post last week's storytime outline despite being convinced that I had!  Oh well, better late than never, right?  So this week in week six I am introducing a new yoga activity.  This past weekend I attended a conference on play presented by the USA Toy Library Association, and one of the breakout sessions was about introducing yoga to kids.  I got lots of great ideas, suggestions, and links to music and activities that we actually did during the presentation.  "Dancing Bear" was one of my favorites so I did it with the kids this week.  At the same conference I also got to dance and sing on stage with Eric Litwin which may be one of the biggest highlights of my career and makes me pretty darn cool in the eyes of my own children. :)
